MFA one time password (OTP) SafeID tokens are available for any CWU faculty or staff member who is unable to use either a phone or personal device for the MFA process. These tokens will provide an auto generated numeric sequence of numbers which is used for MFA authentication. The OTP tokens will work with PC and Mac computers and do not require direct connection with the device.
CWU will provide a single OTP token to employees at no cost. In the event, a token is lost, stolen, or damaged, you will be responsible for purchasing a replacement. The replacement cost of a basic OTP SafeID token is $20 plus tax.
IS staff will contact you to coordinate the pick-up of your token once we receive your request.
