Managing Child Grid Cards on High Level Landing Pages

Overview

Child grid cards on High Level Landing Pages are designed to reflect your website's content architecture. By default, each card represents a sibling page or folder within the same section of the website.

Architecture relationship with Grid cards

Grid Cards

• Each sibling page or folder is represented by a grid card.
• Folders whose names begin with an underscore (_) are excluded from the grid.
• The order of cards follows the content architecture unless reordered.
• High Level Landing Pages serve as entry points into deeper sections of the website.

Grid Card Content

The information displayed on each grid card comes from the corresponding page's Details section.

• For cards that link directly to a page, edit the Details section of that page.
• For cards that link to a folder, edit the Details section of the index page inside that folder.
• Changes made to the Details section are automatically reflected on the grid card.

Example: If you want to edit the content in the "Diversity Statement" Card, edit the Details section of that page:

Manual Grid Cards

To manually control which cards appear, change the Child Grid type from Dynamic to Manual on the High Level Landing Page.

• Manual grids require a minimum of three cards.
• Select the pages you want displayed.
• Arrange cards in the desired order.

Managing Manual Grid Cards

1. Drag the handle to reorder cards.
2. Move a card directly to the top.
3. Move a card up one position.
4. Add a new grid card.
5. Duplicate a grid card.
6. Remove a grid card (the first three cards cannot be removed).
    

Important Notes

• Manual grids must be maintained manually. If a page is moved, renamed, or its URL changes, update the associated grid card.
• Use manual grids to link to related pages or sections rather than unrelated content.
• Review manual grids periodically to ensure all links remain current.
