Register your PC/Mac on ResNet
- Open your web browser on any device connected to your Residence Hall Wi-Fi, and access this link:
http://hostreg.resnet.cwu.edu
Please note: This site is only accessible from Residence Halls on the main CWU Campus, and does not have to be accessed on the same device you are registering to ResNet.
- You may see a security warning. Select the option to continue to the site.
- Log in using your CWU credentials (used for Canvas, MyCWU, etc.).

Enter your CWU credentials.
If you haven’t set up your password, contact the Service Desk at (509) 963-2001, visit the CWU Self-Service Portal or visit the Service Desk, located in Samuelson Hall, 1st Floor.
- If registering a device for the first time, you'll be asked to take a quiz on the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). The quiz is required, multiple choice, and can be retaken unlimited times.
- Answer all 20 questions, then click Submit Quiz. If you missed any questions, you will be asked to retake the quiz until a passing grade is completed. Once the quiz is passed, select Go to HostReg.

Click Add New Device.
- On the Add New Device page, follow these prompts:
- Choose a device category: Select “Any device that will connect with a physical cable.”

- Do not include colons (":") or any other special seperating characters.
- If you need help, call the Service Desk at (509) 963-2001 or visit the Service Desk, Samuelson Hall, 1st Floor.
- Select the device type: Use the dropdown to choose the best match.
- Review the AUP: Check the box to agree to the terms.
