HR Position Description or Allocation Review

It is the supervisor's responsibility to monitor accuracy of the current position description.  Please consult with your HR partner with any questions or concerns.

Best practice is for the supervisor to review the position description annually with the employee.

A position Allocation is the process of assigning a position to a job class (Defined in WAC 357-01-020).

  • Must be done for every classification.
  • Can be initiated by employer (management initiated).
  • Can be initiated by employee
