How to Enter Business Address in Constituent Record

In RE, open the constituent record.  No address information should appear on BIO 1 if this company has more than one office location.

Click on Business Tab in lower right corner.

In General 1 tab, fill in Organization name by searching for it with the binoculars first; if not in our database, then type in the Organization name.

Fill in address and zip, click on binocs to automatically fill in the city and state.

Check the box for “Print organization name with address”.

Type in business phone number, fax, email, (all you know).

Fill in Industry, Position, Profession, Relationship (employer), Reciprocal (Employee) and Date From.

Check box for “Primary business information”.

Click on the MORE box beside country. 

In the Address Information box on the right, Address Type should say Business.

Fill in all other address information you know, such as county, region, etc.

Check box for “Send mail to this address”.

Enter a “Valid Date from”.

Save and Close.

When the box comes up about “you have changed the address, do you want to change this on all linked records?”, SAY NO!!
