Summary
This article explains how to manually connect a Chromebook to the CWU-Wildcats Wi-Fi network.
Connect to CWU-Wildcats Wi-Fi
Step One:
- Click the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Click on the Settings gear icon.

Step Two:
- Click on Network from the left menu.
- Click Add WiFi.

Step Three:
- Enter the following Wi-Fi Settings:
- SSID: CWU-Wildcats
- Security Type: WPA2 Enterprise
- EAP Method: PEAP
- Phase 2 (or inner) Authentication: MSCHAPv2
- Certificates: None, Do Not Validate, or Unspecified
- Identity: CWU username (do not include @cwu.edu)
- Password: Your MyCWU password
- Anonymous Identity: Leave blank
2. Click Connect.

Troubleshooting
If all information is entered correctly but you receive an error configuring network message:
- Close all open applications
- Restart your Chromebook
If CWU-Wildcats does not automatically connect after restarting,
- Open Wi-Fi settings
- Click Connect.
