Connecting to CWU-Wildcats WiFi- Android Devices

**Note** Some Android version 11 and 12 phones might not be able to connect to the wireless network due to lack of software and licenses. Additionally, Android version 14 tends to have issues with the "anonymous" login colliding with your CWU Login and password.

This article will show you how to connect to the CWU Wildcats on most Android OS smartphones.

Step One: Open the Menu of your Phone, and go to the Settings area.

Step Two: Once in Settings, touch the Network and Internet button, then select the Wireless Options.

Step Three: Select CWU-Wildcats WiFi.

Step Four: Adjust your settings as needed, so that the following options are:

EAP Method: PEAP

Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPV2

CA Certificate: Do not validate or Trust on First Use

**Note** Android 13/14 phones will need to have this option set to "Trust on First Use"

Domain: cwu.edu

Identity: Will be your MyCWU username, no @cwu.edu required

Anonymous Identity: You may leave the Anonymous Identity blank

Password: The password will just be your standard password, the same you use for MyCWU.

You should now stay connected as long as you are within range of the WiFi network.
