Finding your MAC Address on a Gaming Console

Note: If your Game Console Is Not On This List Use The Following Guide:

Finding the Xbox One Address:

These instructions are for configuring a Microsoft Xbox One for use with ResNet. Please ensure that your Xbox is connected to an Ethernet port.

Step One: Press the "Menu" button on your controller.

Step Two: Navigate to the Settings page.

Step Three: Select Network

Step Four: Select Advanced Settings.

Step Five: MAC address will be listed next on the right hand side of the  screen.


Finding the Xbox 360 MAC Address:

Step One: Go the Xbox 360 Dashboard and navigate all the way to the right most tab labeled My Xbox and select the SystemSettings option.

Step Two: Select Network Settings then Configure Network

Step Three: Go to the Additional Settings Tab and select the Advanced Settings. In the next window you should see the MAC Address listed.


 

Finding the PlayStation 4 MAC Address:

These instructions are for configuring a Sony PlayStation 4 for use with ResNet. Please ensure that your PS4 is connected to an Ethernet port.

Step One: On the PS4 home page go to Settings.

Step Two: Scroll down to System.

Step Three: Scroll down to System Information.

Step Four: At the bottom you will find the MAC Address (LAN Cable) which you will need to write down.


 

Finding the Playstation 3 MAC Address:
Step One: On the main menu select Settings  (looks like a toolbox).

Step Two: Select System,

Step Three: Select System Information. The MAC Address will be listed here.


 

Finding the Playstation Vita MAC Address:

Step One: On the Home Screen, Select Settings.

Step Two: Select System, then

Step Three: Select System Information. The MAC address will be listed here.


 

Finding the Nintendo Switch MAC Address:

Step One: On the Home Menu, select System Settings.

Step Two: Select Internet. The MAC Address will appear under System MAC Address.

 



Finding the Nintendo 3DS MAC Address:

Step One: On the Home Screen, select System Settings.

Step Two: Then select Internet Settings.

Step Three: Select Other Information.

Step Four: Select Confirm MAC Address. The MAC Address will be listed here.


 

Finding the Wii MAC Address:

Step One: Select on the Wii Channel Menu.

Step Two: Select the Wii Settings button.

Step Three: Select Internet.

Step Four: Select Console Settings. The MAC Address should be listed here.


 

Finding the Wii U MAC Address:

These instructions are for configuring a Nintendo Wii U for use with ResNet.

In order to use the Wii U, you must use an USB to Ethernet adapter.

Step One: On your game pad, select System Settings on the Wii U Menu.

Step Two: Select "Internet".

Step Three: Select "View Mac Address".

Step Four: Write down the "LAN Adapter MAC address".
