Enabling and Disabling Cache/History on Browser Exit

Users that would like to have their browser clear their cookies and other site data on exiting may want to have this enabled or for those experiencing repeated Multi-factor Authentications when signing into their CWU account may want to disable this feature.

Chrome

Firefox

Edge

Chrome:

Select the Settings menu on the top right and select Settings.

Click on Privacy and Security on the left column.

Select Cookies and other site data.

Toggle the "Clear cookies and site data when you quit Chrome" option.


Firefox: 

Select the Menu on the top right and select Options.

Click on Privacy & Security on the left column.

Scroll to Cookies and Site Data.

Toggle the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" checkbox.


Edge:

Select the Settings and more on the top right and select Settings.

Click on Privacy, search, and services on the left column.

Scroll down to Clear browsing data and select "Choose what to clear every time you close the browser".

Toggle the "Cookies and other site data" option.
