Central Washington University has an included an External tag and message banner inserted at the top of the email body message when receiving emails outside of the CWU.edu domain. When viewing the Outlook email in both the Web portal and Outlook desktop application, an External tag will be displayed in list of email messages. Below is an example of the External tag.
When viewing the message in the preview window, there will be an included message banner at the top, shown below.
When opening an email in the Outlook mobile app (iOS/Android), a pop-up alert will be presented before viewing the email. An example is shown below.
