Full Virus Scan with Microsoft Defender Windows Security
Step 1: Open the start menu and search for Windows Security.

Step 2: While in “Windows Security,” click on Virus & threat protection.

Step 3: Under the “current threats” section, click on scan options.

Step 4: In “Scan Options”, chose Full Scan and click on the Scan now button.

Microsoft Defender Anti virus will now complete a full virus scan on your computer. If any “threats” are found, they will be automatically removed or quarantined.
A computer restart may be required. The amount of data you have on your computer will determine how long this process can take.
