Summary
This article shows you how to connect iOS devices, like iPhones or iPads, to the CWU-Wildcats wireless network.
- Once connected, your device will automatically reconnect to CWU-Wildcats when in range.
Before You Begin:
- To update your iOS software
- Click on Settings
- Select General
- Select Software Update.
- To forget the CWU-Public network to avoid automatic connections
- Go to Settings
- Select Wi-Fi
- Tap the info icon next to CWU-Public
- Tap Forget This Network.
Connect to CWU-Wildcats
Step One: Open the Settings app. Tap Wi-Fi, then select CWU-Wildcats from the list of available networks.
Step Two: When prompted, enter your CWU username (without @cwu.edu) and password.

Step Three: Tap Trust to accept the server certificate if prompted.

FAQ
Question: Why am I unable to connect with my username?
- Your username contains your last name and the initial of your first name (Example: The name Wellington Wildcat would be WildcatW@cwu.edu).
- Do NOT include @cwu.edu in your username when connecting to the wifi.
- Instead, only use your last name and first initial (Example: WildcatW).
- If you experience any errors while trying to connect, please call the CWU Service Desk at 509-963-2001.
