Save and open files in your Office apps


Use OneDrive in your browser

Step One: Sign in to microsoft365.com with your CWU Email Login (username@cwu.edu) and select OneDrive.

Step Two: Select Upload > Files or Upload > Folder.

Step Three: Select the files or folder you want to upload.

Step Four Select Open, Choose, or Select Folder.

Use OneDrive on your desktop

If you use Windows 10, OneDrive may have already asked you to sign in to sync your files.

Step One: In File Explorer, select:  OneDrive – Central Washington University

If OneDrive isn't setup on your desktop, see OneDrive Setup for PC or OneDrive for Mac Setup.


Save and open files in your Office apps

  • Select File > Save As > OneDrive - Central Washington University to save a work file to OneDrive.

  • Select File > Open and then select OneDrive, to open a file saved to OneDrive.

Note: Requires Office 365, 2019, or 2016.
