Step Two: Select Work or School as the account type.

Step Three: To view your OneDrive folder, launch a File Explorer window and click on OneDrive - Central Washington University

Step 4: Files can now be dragged and dropped or copy and pasted into the folders or root level of the OneDrive Folder. To manage online/offline availability, right click on the file or folder to change its availability. A check mark next to Always Keep on this Device and a green arrow under status indicates the file is stored both in the cloud and locally so the file can be accessed with or without an internet connection. No check mark next to Always keep on this device and a blue cloud symbol under the staus indicates that the file is only stored online and will only be available as long as the PC is connected to the internet.

Step 5: To remove the locally saved copy of the file, right click the file and choose Free up space. Wait for the status to change from a Green Checkmark to a Blue Cloud to indicate the file has been removed locally but is still saved to the cloud.

Note: This will NOT delete files. It will only remove the locally stored copy of the file. This will free up hard drive space on your computer but the file will now only be available as long as you are actively connected to the internet.

Wait for the status to change from a Green Checkmark to a Blue Cloud to indicate the file has been removed locally but is still saved to the cloud.
