Description/What is it?
After updating the preferred name in MyCWU, Canvas and other services may take up to 2 days for a new name appear correctly. If the user's preferred name has not been automatically updated after 2 days, a technician will begin the process of updating it in Canvas.
Users will need to know the following information for the ticket...
- Are they registered for classes?
- Are they enrolled for orientation?
- Have they updated their preferred name in the MyCWU portal?
- What is the name displayed in MyCWU?
- What is their legal name?
Who can use it?
CWU Faculty, Students and Staff can request this service.
How to request this service?
This service is requested through the Multimodal Office. Requests can be made by clicking the Request button to the right.
