Download and install Outlook accounts on both iOS and Android Devices

This article will outline the steps included in installing the Microsft outlook app on both Android and iOS devices.

iOS compatibility: 13.0 or later

Apple Watch: watchOS 6.0  or later

Android compatibility: 6.0 or later

*note if you have Multi-factor Authetion enabled on your account please follow the steps in this article Signing in with Microsoft MFA using the Authenticator App, If not follow this article as normal. 

Android Instructions 

Step One: Head to the Google Play Store and search for "Microsoft outlook", install the app.

Step Two: Once you open the app it should take you to a welcome screen just tap on the "ADD ACCOUNT" button, enter your CWU username.

Step Three: You should be taken to the CWU single sign-on log-in page. Please enter your CWU email address and password and tap the "Sign in" button.  NOTE! Your CWU email address when you are logging in will be the one WITHOUT the period.  The firstname.lastname@cwu.edu is what we call an Alias. It protects your actually username from being stolen.  

Step Four: After loging in with your CWU username and password, you should be in your 

 

iPhone / iOS Instructions

Step One: Head to the app store and search for "Microsoft Outlook", install the app.

Step Two: Once you open the app it should take you to a welcome screen just tap on the "ADD ACCOUNT" button, enter your CWU username.

Step Three: Now you should be taken to a log-in page simply enter your password and tap the "Sign in" button.

Step Four: Once signed in with your CWU username and password, Outlook should open giving you access to your email and calendar.
